Cancel within three business days for a refund by right
MillionaireMatch’s Service Agreement, checked on September 20, 2026, has one refund window. You may cancel a subscription within three business days of subscribing and receive a refund. The Agreement names that window the Trial Period and calls subscription fees non-refundable except for cancellations made inside it.
Trial Period
MillionaireMatch's term for the first three business days after you subscribe. A cancellation inside that window carries a refund; outside it, the same Agreement calls subscription fees non-refundable.
Inside those three days, canceling means asking for the money back. After that, all it can do is stop the next charge; you keep what you already paid for until the term runs out.
The window is counted in business days. Fees are paid in advance. By the time the window opens, the money has already gone.
Use those three days. Send the messages you paid to send and run the filters you wanted, then judge whether the account returns what you expected. The prices behind that decision are on how much MillionaireMatch costs.
Switch automatic renewal off in Settings, then Subscriptions
Log in, open Settings and follow the cancellation instructions there. The FAQ names the Subscriptions page, and that is where you switch automatic renewal off. The paid privileges stay active until the term you already bought ends. Customer service will also do it for you by email or phone if the page gives you trouble.
The FAQ’s own click path, read on October 1, 2026: click SETTINGS under your main photo icon in the upper right corner, then Subscriptions in the left sidebar, then the link that reads “Your membership will automatically renew until you cancel your subscription by clicking here”, and then CONTINUE MANAGEMENT to stop the auto-renewal. After that you keep the paid privileges until the membership ends, and the account drops back to Standard.
Settings, then Payment Details, shows the state of the account on one screen. The page lists:
- Payment Type and Membership Type
- Price, Purchase Date and Expiration Date
- Renewal Status
With renewal off, that page read on September 20, 2026: “Your automatic renewal status is OFF. Your current PREMIUM Membership will remain active until it expires. Once expired, all of your 40 PREMIUM Privileges will be lost.” Take the Expiration Date from that line and put it in your calendar.
A subscription left alone renews automatically for the same duration as the initial term, and it keeps doing that until someone switches it off. If the Renewal Status still reads on after you think you canceled, the cancellation did not land.
An App Store or Google Play subscription needs a second step
A subscription bought inside an app belongs to the store that sold it. MillionaireMatch tells members that when paying by Google Play or the Apple App Store, they will also have to stop the subscription through Google or Apple. Switching renewal off on the website does not reach a store subscription. Deleting the app does not reach it either; Google’s help page says it plainly: when you uninstall an app, your subscription will not cancel.
Apple’s official path, from its support page published on September 29, 2026:
- Open Settings and tap your name.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Tap the subscription.
- Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find the button. If there is no Cancel button, or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.
Google Play’s official path, from its help page:
- Go to your subscriptions in Google Play at play.google.com.
- For the subscription you want to cancel, click Manage.
- Click Cancel subscription, select a reason in the confirmation pop-up, then click Continue.
Both stores let you keep what you already paid for: Google states that after you cancel, you can still use the subscription for the time you have paid. Apple’s page adds one timing rule worth copying: if you signed up for a trial subscription and do not want to renew, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. MillionaireMatch’s own FAQ now repeats the Apple steps under “How Do I Cancel My Subscription on My iPad or iPhone?”
| Where you paid | Where to cancel | Who you ask about a refund |
|---|---|---|
| MillionaireMatch website | Settings, then the Subscriptions page | MillionaireMatch customer service |
| Apple App Store | Apple (Settings, your name, Subscriptions), then Settings on MillionaireMatch | Apple holds the subscription; MillionaireMatch’s published terms do not say who refunds a store purchase |
| Google Play | Google (subscriptions on play.google.com), then Settings on MillionaireMatch | Google holds the subscription; MillionaireMatch’s published terms do not say who refunds a store purchase |
Check the receipt before you start. Web billing runs in US dollars through MillionaireMatch. A store subscription appears on an Apple or Google receipt instead. Doing half the job leaves the store billing while the website shows no renewal. For how the same membership is priced across the three checkouts, see MillionaireMatch app vs website.
After the Trial Period, a refund is a request rather than a right
Outside the three business days the Service Agreement calls subscription fees non-refundable. The refund FAQ still says you have the right to cancel your subscription without any penalty or obligation, and it sends full or prorated refund questions to customer service by phone or email. Asking is reasonable. The published terms oblige nobody to say yes.
Customer service takes refund questions by email at support@millionairematch.com and by phone on 1-416-628-1072 or the toll-free 1-888-702-1274. Phone support is open 9 AM to 5 PM EST. Live chat in the member area runs 24/7, and MillionaireMatch says it usually replies within 30 seconds.
Put the request in writing even if you call first. An email leaves a dated record of what was asked and when.
Bring the facts from the Payment Details page: membership type, price, purchase date, expiration date and renewal status. Add the date you subscribed and the date you asked to cancel, then say whether you want a full refund or a prorated one. This is general information, not legal or financial advice.
Pause or delete the account in Settings
Canceling a subscription and closing an account are two separate jobs. Settings has a Pause or Delete Account entry. The note beside it is about visibility only: pausing hides your profile and photos from others without deleting your account. Deleting is the permanent option. Neither one switches off automatic renewal, so the Subscriptions page still needs its own visit.
There is one exception, and it only helps on the web. The FAQ, read on October 1, 2026, says that if you pay by credit card, MillionaireMatch will automatically cancel your subscription for you if you remove your account. A store subscription works the other way: it keeps billing regardless of your account status on the app until you stop it through Apple or Google.
Stop the renewal first and confirm the Renewal Status on the Payment Details page. Then decide whether to pause or delete. The other way round can leave a charge attached to an account you are no longer reading.
Settings has smaller controls for anyone who wants less contact without closing the account: Manage Hidden Users, Hidden Conversations, Members I’ve Hidden From Search and Prevent Incoming Video and Voice Calls. Hiding is weaker than pausing. A hidden profile can still send and receive messages from members whose profiles are visible.
Premium-only privacy settings return to default when Premium expires
The Privacy and Visibility page has a line that is easy to miss: Premium-only settings will be restored to default when your Premium Membership expires. The Payment Details page says the same about the rest of the account in plainer words: once the membership expires, the Premium privileges go with it.
The privileges list read on September 20, 2026 puts Browse Profiles Anonymously, Choose Who Sees You, Hide Certain Profiles from Search and On-Demand Invisibility on the Premium side. If you rely on any of those, write down how they are set before the expiration date, then check them again the day after.
What remains is the free Standard account: a profile, up to 26 public and 26 private photos, search by country and state, winks, and replies to members who hold Premium. What a Standard member can do covers that floor. For the 39 privileges listed on September 30, 2026, see the tier list before you decide whether to buy them again.
The checklist to run before you subscribe
Most cancellation trouble starts at checkout, long before anyone is thinking about canceling. Fees are paid up front for the term you choose, and the subscription then repeats that term until someone switches it off. Four lines on the payment screen decide how much work a cancellation costs later.
- The term you are buying, and the date it ends.
- The platform, because web, App Store and Google Play each cancel in a different place.
- The renewal line, which says the term repeats until you turn it off.
- The close of the three business day window. Note that date on the day you subscribe.
A cancellation inside the three business days is a refund under the Agreement. The same cancellation after them is an email to customer service and a wait.
In short decide inside three business days, because that is the only window in which MillionaireMatch's own Agreement makes a refund a right rather than a request.
