A category site sets the filters before you type a word

MillionaireMatch has filters a general app does not: income and net worth, occupation categories such as Finance, Executive, Medical and Legal, and the advanced Discover filters that come with Premium. Registration is open from age 20, and the FAQ says you do not need to be a millionaire to join.

Discover runs in four modes: Flame, the swipe feed; Gallery, a grid; 1:1 Meetup; and a Premium mode that filters for paying members. The basic filters cover men or women, ages 20 to 99, and a location set to Anywhere or to a country, state and city. When that pool empties, the search widens on its own: “Once all matching members have been viewed, your search will automatically expand to include more possibilities.”

A profile shows a city and state, an occupation category and a field called “Open to Relocating or Traveling to Meet”. In the Discover feed for a New York account on September 20, 2026, the profiles we saw came from New York, Virginia and Georgia.

Offline, the same search concentrates in a handful of metros. Where wealthy single men spend their time in US cities has the IRS figures by metro and what the venues there cost. The method below works from any of them, or from hours away.

Step 1: decide what you want besides money

Before registering, settle five answers: the age range you would actually date, whether your location is fixed or open, which occupation categories you understand, whether you are open to relocating or traveling to meet, and what a good week with this person looks like. Other members search on those same fields.

MillionaireMatch’s community guidelines, checked on September 20, 2026, prohibit compensated dating and any request for financial support, and money must not be mentioned in a profile apart from income verification. Whatever you want has to be sayable without a number attached to it.

Money is still a filter on the paid side. Filter by Income & Net Worth is one of the 39 Premium privileges listed in the member area on September 30, 2026. The rules allow you to look for a successful partner; they forbid asking that partner for money.

Step 2: build a profile that survives a ten-second read

All of this part is free. A Standard member can add up to 26 public photos and 26 private photos, write the profile in full, and set a city and state and an occupation category. In a ten-second read the photos do most of the work, so start there.

Four of the rules come from the product itself:

  • Keep at least one public photo. Photo verification is canceled if all public photos are deleted.
  • Move anything you do not want in a search result into the private album. Twenty-six private slots is more than most people use.
  • Answer “Open to Relocating or Traveling to Meet” honestly, because other members use it as a filter.
  • Leave money out of the text. Income verification is the only place it belongs (guidelines, September 20, 2026).

Then write the rest: what your days actually contain, and what you want the next year to look like with someone in it.

Step 3: read the badges for what they actually check

Each badge answers one narrow question. The FAQ’s badge key, checked on September 20, 2026, reads a Diamond badge as income verified through Certified Millionaire, a green circle as online within the past three days, and a PREMIUM badge as a paid subscription. None of them says anything about how a person behaves once a conversation starts.

What a badge proves

Photo verification confirms that the person using the account matches the photos submitted for verification; the FAQ states that it does not confirm income, occupation, relationship intentions, medical information, criminal history or the accuracy of every profile statement. ID verification checks a government-issued document through Yoti, the Millionaire Badge and Credit Level programs rest on records the member supplies, and MillionaireMatch does not conduct background checks on its members.

The Get Verified page in the member area reads “Verification is free for now”. An income claim goes through Certified Millionaire, which is exclusive to Platinum and Chairman members. It runs in two steps: the member’s name first, then proof of annual income or net worth. One of its listed benefits is placement above others in search results, and placement is not evidence of a better match.

The Credit Level indicator shows values such as “VERY GOOD” and rests on records the member supplies.

Step 4: start free and find the exact limit

Spend nothing in the first week and the limit shows up on its own. A Standard member can search, wink and reply, but cannot start or continue a conversation unless the other person currently holds Premium. The MillionaireMatch FAQ, checked on September 20, 2026, says a Standard member can reply to messages initiated by other premium members for free.

What you want to do Standard (free) Premium
Create a profile, 26 public and 26 private photos Yes Yes
Search by country and state Yes Yes
Send winks Up to 20 a day for three days, then up to 40 Unlimited
Reply to a Premium member who wrote first Yes Yes
Start or continue a conversation Only if the other person holds Premium Yes
Filter by income and net worth No Yes

A hidden profile can still send and receive messages from members whose profiles are visible. On iOS, a Silver member can start up to two new chats a day, and Bronze has been discontinued. Our guide to what a free account covers goes through the whole free tier.

Of the profiles you would actually write to, count how many show a PREMIUM badge. Only those members can open a thread with you while you stay free.

Step 5: pay for the one privilege that is blocking you

Name the privilege before you pay for it. The member area listed 39 Premium privileges, 44 for Platinum and 56 for Chairman on September 30, 2026. Most readers are blocked by one of three: Send Unlimited Private Messages to Anyone, See Who Viewed You or Filter by Income & Net Worth.

If nobody with a PREMIUM badge writes first, buy messaging. The advanced filters are the purchase when the search keeps returning the wrong people. Platinum adds private date due diligence, an NDA template for offline meetups, help reducing your online footprint, view-once photos and the Platinum badge; the membership levels guide sets the three tiers side by side.

Premium was listed at $100 a month, $240 for three months or $390 for six, observed on the web upgrade flow on September 30, 2026. Platinum was $1,000 a month and Chairman $2,990 a month. Prices vary by platform (web or app store), plan length, promotion and account state; the price that applies to you is shown at checkout. Chairman is gated anyway. On September 20, 2026 the application dialog said access is by invitation only during a limited testing phase, and the full price check has the numbers.

A subscription renews automatically for the same term until auto-renewal is switched off on the Subscriptions page under Settings, and a cancellation within three business days is refundable under the Service Agreement’s Trial Period.

In short pay in the week you can name the privilege that is blocking you, and stay free until then.

What a realistic first month looks like

The first month is mostly your own work. The profile takes an evening, and the mobile number check takes seconds. Winks are free from day one, up to 20 a day for the first three days and up to 40 after that. From then on, other people’s inboxes set the pace.

Discover expands the search once every matching member has been viewed, so a tight filter in a small city empties faster than a loose one in New York.

On Trustpilot, complaints cluster on inactive profiles, on photo or account rejections, and on cost and renewal. The positive reviews name the verification badges, the income filters and the relationship-focused feel.

What dating a millionaire is actually like covers the house rules for those same weeks: no requests for money, no gifts around the first three dates, and the FTC and FBI warning signs of a scam.

The Meetup form puts the responsibility in one line: you are solely responsible for your interactions with other members of the service, whether online or offline.

Who this method is not for

Anyone under 20 cannot join, because the FAQ sets the minimum age at 20 and the Service Agreement repeats it as twenty years old. Anyone who wants compensated dating is in the wrong place: the community guidelines, checked on September 20, 2026, prohibit any request for financial support, tell members never to send money to another member, and say accounts that appear to be looking for that can be banned.

The site also states that it is not an escort service. Anyone who wants the platform to do the screening should look elsewhere, because MillionaireMatch does not conduct background checks and the badges only confirm a photo, a document or a record the member supplied.

The controls you do get are about your own visibility. You can hide your current location, hide your city, browse profiles anonymously, or hide your online status. The toggle named “Hide me from all members” is the strongest of them: only you can view your profile and photos. Pausing the account does the same without deleting it.

The phone is for the reply, not the profile

Do the profile, the filters and the upgrade decision at a desk, on the website, where you can read the prices and terms before you tap. Carry the app for the two things that happen between sessions: replying to a Premium member who wrote to you, and the masked pre-date call. The membership is identical on both; the billing platform is not, so the app-store version of the price can differ from the web upgrade flow. Our app vs website guide compares the two flows side by side.
